The recipes for the diet are quite interesting, not to mention the ingredients. It almost takes a degree in culinary arts just to make some of the things. Poached eggs, Bermuda Onion, Plum Tomatoes. Are just a few of the things.
Most of the food that I have already prepared look and smell amazing. The frittata's are surprisingly easy to prepare. *Hint on this is to have a cast iron skillet. The vegetable quiche to go cups are really good, but not very filling.

Exchanges and Receipes
Some of the exchanges and receipes sound very good. Like instead of mashed potatoes, steam califlower, then mash it add margarine, and half and half. I am really going to have to try this.
Another one, pizza on a whole grain crust, with mushrooms, green peppers, onions and low-fat cheese. Don't these just sound delicious.
Hambugers, take off the bun and ketchup, and be moderate on the mayonnaise and mustard. There you go. I will just need to remember to forgo the ketchup. I just can't wait until I am off of my current diet restrictions. This is something that will be wonderful, and exciting new part of my life. If it works, great; but if it is a easy it I am being led to believe and can keep it going; then wonderful.

Phase 1
As many of you, may or may not, know. The South Beach diet works in phases, and there are a total of three. Since Dr. Agatston totes his nutrition program, not as a diet plan, but as a change in lifestyle plan.
I know that many diet plans are meant to be used by all, but since I am active in the LDS faith, there will be certain foods that I will not be posting about; ie alcohol. So here is the list of what, I will be able to eat on the First Phase of the diet.
I will preface this list saying, Wow. If you are interested, keep reading.
Sorry, but I am having some issues bring over the file. Once I get these fixed I will post it.

South Beach Choice
Welcome, friends. Many of you know the many things that are wrong with my health. One of my doctors suggested that I try the South Beach Diet. At the moment, most of my blogs will be about the research that I doing, pictures of the types of food that I can and cannot partake of.
Once, I am off of my current diet restrictions, I will be posting pictures and my commentary of this particular diet.
